 Electronic Handbrake Installations Instruction:

Step 1:
Preparation
-Make sure your vehicle is parked on a level surface and the parking brake is engaged.
-Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery to ensure safety during the installation.

Step 2:
Interior Components Installation
-Remove the center console or any necessary panels to access the area where the handbrake lever will be installed.
-Assemble the electronic handbrake lever and secure it to the designated location following the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 3:
Actuator Installation
-Locate a suitable position for the actuator, typically near the vehicle's rear brakes.
-Install the actuator using the provided brackets and hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened to the vehicle's chassis.

Step 4:
Cable Installation
-Route the electronic handbrake cables from the actuator to the handbrake lever following the recommended path, avoiding any sharp edges or moving parts.
-Attach the cables to the actuator and the handbrake lever, ensuring proper tension and alignment.

Step 5:
Wiring
-Connect the wiring harness from the electronic handbrake control module to the actuator and handbrake lever according to the manufacturer's instructions.
-Secure the wiring using zip ties and ensure it is protected from damage.

Step 6:
Electrical Connections
-Make the necessary electrical connections, including power, ground, and any other required connections, as specified in the installation manual.
-Follow the wiring diagram provided by the manufacturer to ensure proper connections and compatibility with your vehicle's electrical system.

Step 7:
Testing and Calibration
-Reconnect the vehicle's battery.
-Test the electronic handbrake system to ensure proper operation. Follow the calibration procedure outlined in the installation manual.

Step 8:
Finalization
-Reassemble any panels or components that were removed during the installation.
-Conduct a final test of the electronic handbrake to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
